Economically and ecologically efficient operation of industrial robots
Modern production benefits from the automation possibilities and flexibility of robots. The resulting resource efficiency therefore depends on the individual application. In this context, energy consumption is an important criterion for economic and ecological efficiency. A supplementary determination of the expected service life of the robotic system makes it possible to consider the individual useful life and estimate maintenance intervals.
The combined analysis of energy consumption and service life allows a detailed consideration of operating costs and the implementation of life cycle analyses. In order to increase the economic and ecological efficiency, different strategies are investigated, including methods for planning optimal trajectories
