Safa KASKAYA studied Automotive Engineering BSc at the Gazi University in ANKARA at TURKIYE. During his studies, he focused on the structure of Internal combustion engines, transmission systems and vehicle dynamics. He then worked at MAN TURKIYE A.Ş. as a design engineer for one year.
In 2020, he started his MSc in Propulsion and Engine Systems at the University of Southampton. He mainly focused on hybrid vehicle structures and energy management strategies during his MSc.
He has been a PhD student at the Technical University of Darmstadt as part of the Vehicle Systems Research Group at the IMS since September 2022.
