Asghar Mahmoudi Khomami obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Guilan, Iran. His research is mainly focused on the design and development of assistive wearable robots and their actuation systems. During his Master’s studies, he worked on the design and development of a lower limb exoskeleton used for rehabilitation of patients with movement impairments.
Since June 2022, he has been a research assistant in the group “Actuated Systems” at IMS. He is participating in the LokoAssist project as a PhD candidate where his main objective is to design adaptable drive Concepts for assistive systems.
