Christian Fischer studied mechanical and process engineering at the TU Darmstadt. During his studies he on methodology of structure mechanics and control design. His master thesis dealt with model-based control methods applicable for multi-axle robot systems.
Since march of 2019 he is part of the research group “Actuated Systems” at the IMS. His field of activity lies in the identification of damage mechanisms in power gear trains to identify risk levels and improve overall gear train design. In this context he is involved in the GRACE II project in collaboration with Rolls-Royce Germany.
